This workshop incorporates insights from neuroscience and psychology, explaining why getting feedback is so critical yet so challenging. It offers tools to help us take on offhand comments, annual performance evaluations, and unsolicited advice with curiosity and grace. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to: (1) identify 3 triggers that cause us to resist feedback; (2) better ask for feedback you need by recognizing three types of feedback and how to ask for each; and (3) recognize how reframing feedback impacts our acceptance.
