Conflict Competence: From Bystander to Upstander

Through this discussion driven, scenario-based workshop, you will explore your own barriers to taking action and identify five strategies you could use when moving from being a bystander to being an upstander.

Course Description

What do you do when you see incivility, but it’s not directed at you? What is your role if you witness micro or macro aggressions in the workplace? How do you support your colleagues and help address problematic behavior? These are not simple questions and there is not a single correct answer. Through this discussion driven, scenario-based workshop, you will explore your own barriers to taking action and identify five strategies you could use when moving from being a bystander to being an upstander.
