Your New Year UC Benefits Checklist

Get a strong start to the New Year by taking these steps to help you make the most of your UC Benefits.

Review Your Benefits Elections

Did you make changes during open enrollment? Review your benefits enrollments and paychecks to ensure all is in order.

• Sign-in to UCPath and go to “View My Benefits Summary” under “Health & Welfare.”
• Note that employee costs for voluntary disability and life plans are updated each year based on age and salary as of Jan. 1.

Review Your Retirement Contributions and Savings Goals

Learn about your UC voluntary retirement plan options.   

• 2026 Contribution limits to the voluntary 403b and 457b plans are increasing.
• Visit myUCretirement.com to learn more about UC’s retirement benefits and register for a financial education webinar.
• Schedule a meeting with a UC-dedicated Fidelity Workplace Financial Consultant.

Review Your Beneficiary Details 

Have you had a change in family status (marriage, divorce, children and other life events) that may cause a change your designation of beneficiaries? 

• View/update beneficiaries online through your secure UC Retirement At Your Service (UCRAYS) and Fidelity NetBenefits accounts.

Schedule Your Annual Wellness Exam

Maximize your benefits and get caught up on wellness exams or screenings. 

• Learn more about your benefit plans and coverages.
• Take advantage of wellness offerings from UC Davis.
