How to Purchase Discounted Tickets:

  1. Visit the California Academy of Sciences eTicket Program webpage.
  2. Enter your sales code - ucdavis
  3. Select your ticket type (Daytime Admission, NightLife, etc.).
  4. Choose your date, time, and add tickets to your cart—the $5 discount will apply automatically.
  5. “Continue as a Guest” and proceed to checkout. Employees can create an account if they choose
Staff Tuition for Education Program (STEP)

About: STEP is administered by the Human Resources Wellbeing unit and supports eligible employees pursuing accredited degree programs and certain accredited vocational and specialized certificate programs that prepare candidates for skilled allied health positions.

STEP at a Glance

  • Up to $4,000 per calendar year for eligible educational expenses paid by the employee
  • $16,000 lifetime maximum
  • Amounts over $4,000 do not roll over to the next calendar year
  • Submit requests within 60 days after course completion

Funds are subject to change and may be impacted by budgetary or other considerations. Please note that only submissions complying with the STEP Guidelines provided below will be considered. 

Preauthorization of course of study is not required. Reimbursements will not be provided for ineligible programs.

UC Employee-Student Reduced Fee Program

Offer: Certain fees may be waived for UC employees who are also enrolled as students.

Regular status employees (career UC employee who work 50% time or greater and are non-probationary) who meet admission requirements of the university are eligible for two-thirds reduction of both the University Registration Fee and the Educational Fee when enrolled in regular session courses of up to nine units or three courses per quarter or semester, whichever provides the greater benefit.

UC Davis employees are eligible to apply for a significant scholarship that will help you achieve your dream of obtaining a graduate business degree.
