Parking

A UC Davis parking access validation (permit) is required to park at UC Davis Administrative Services West. A parking permit can be purchased through the AMP Park app. Find out more information by visiting the UC Davis Transportation Services webpage. 

*If you are creating a new account for the AMP Park app you will need to sign up with your @ucdavis.edu e-mail for the employee parking rate or else you will be charged with the guest parking rate ($16).

Parking for Administrative Services West is available in Visitor Parking Lots 80 and 81.

Entering the building

Academic Services West Entry

All learners will enter through the main HR Administrative Services West entrance with the reception desk.

The key card door to right of the reception desk to access the training room will be propped open 15 minutes prior to the start of class and 15 minutes into the class session.
Similarly, during lunchtime (if applicable), the door will be propped open 15 minutes prior to the return from lunch and closed 15 minutes after the return time

Signage will be posted to guide learners from the doorway through to the classroom

Food and Drink

A hydration station is available near the training room restrooms and all attendees are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. There are a handful of food options around UC Davis Administrative Services West including Carl's Jr's, IHOP, KFC, Safeway, Dos Coyotes, Mr. Pickles, In N Out, Starbucks, and Four Seasons Gourmet Chinese restaurant. 

This classroom location provides access to a microwave and Keurig machine. Keurig coffee pods are not provided.

Lactation Support Information

Administrative Services West (ASW) has one lactation room available to use. It is located in the left wing of the building from the reception desk. If you need access to the lactation room, please register for the Lactation Support Program. Registration takes one minute, and you will be redirected to a page with all lactation room locations and access codes. Within the registration process, guests will sign an equipment waiver to utilize the pump in the room. The pump at ASW is an Ameda Hospital Grade pump and can be operated by attaching a personal collection kit. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own pump to utilize within the room. 

Please note, do not rely on refrigeration on site, please bring your own personal cooler bag to keep your milk cold. If you have any additional questions about lactation support, please email worklife@ucdavis.edu.
