This overview of University of California retiree medical plans is intended to help those who need to know more about the plans during Open Enrollment for 2024 and beyond. (This presentation does not discuss post-doctoral scholar, intern/resident or student benefits.)

Note: Post-recording, we learned that for the UC Medicare Choice (UnitedHealthcare) plan, 90-day prescription drug fills at all retail pharmacies, including UC Davis pharmacies, require 3x the applicable copayment. 90-day supplies filled by mail order through UC Davis pharmacies require 2x the applicable copayment.
