The Graduate Academic Experience

Graduate degrees can be complex to navigate, for both graduate students and the campus staff who advise them.

This session will provide an overview of degree milestones, the various roles in a graduate program, academic policies, mentoring best practices, graduation requirements, and graduate student resources.  Participants will also engage in small group discussions to analyze student case studies and learn how to best advise graduate students and make referrals.

Note: This is a required class in the Graduate Education Certificate Series
