Sue Woods has extensive experience in meeting planning and conference design and facilitation, outreach and civic engagement processes, organizational development, mediation, negotiation, collaboration and training. Ms. Woods provides consulting and training services at UC Davis and within a variety of state agencies and health care institutions on topics such as team assessment, strategic planning, team building, change management and leadership alignment as well as team and individual coaching for employee performance improvement. With 18 years of experience at the CSUS Center for Collaborative Policy, Ms. Woods is a lead mediator and facilitator in the public policy arenas of mental health, transportation, land use, air quality, emergency management/ homeland security, energy, and water and other natural resources. Ms. Woods has successfully built capacity within many California public agencies and stakeholder groups to use collaborative decision-making and problem-solving strategies for improved public policy outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
