John Gregg

John Gregg, who joined UC Davis in 1986, is Director of Controls and Accountability. John assumed this new role in 1997 after 11 years with the Internal Audit Office. Starting as the Principal EDP Auditor, John worked his way up to become Director of Internal Audit in 1992. He earned his B.A. in Management and a Minor in Astronomy from Sonoma State University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and a Certified Computing Professional with concentrations in management and systems development. Prior to joining UC Davis, John was with the U.S. Army Audit Agency, which enabled him to travel extensively. John has conducted several continuing education seminars sponsored by the UC Business Officers Institute, and several professional societies.
