Course Description

This course will provide information and training to coordinators regarding how Graduate Studies interacts with prospective and current applicants; how coordinators can effectively  communicate with prospective applicants; how coordinators can retrieve and present data for faculty review; best practices for “holistic reviews”, including the value of diversity; and best practices for recruiting to increase diversity. This course will also touch upon applicants that apply with external funding through international partnerships, graduate pipeline programs, etc. Overall, the goal of this course is to provide coordinators with information regarding the trends and strategies that produce effective results, including coordination of activities with Graduate Studies and diversity initiatives and recruitment.
