Retirement 101 Short Course

The road to retirement, while filled with excitement, can also involve a few hurdles if you have not adequately prepared. The Retiree Center will be piloting a one day short course designed to help staff and faculty plan for a successful transition to retirement. The one day format will include topics such as UC pension options, retiree health benefits, financial planning for retirement and an overview of social security benefits and programs. Space is limited.

Please note:

The Retiree Center also offers a four week series called “Transitioning to Retirement” each January. The 2018  workshops will take place on the mornings of January 10, 17, 24, and 31st at the UC Davis Conference Center. If you are interested in a more in-depth overview of retirement preparation, this four week course is an additional option. Material presented will be very similar. (Space is limited you won’t be able to take the course in October and repeat it again in January.) Registration for the four series Transitioning to Retirement program will open in late October.
