The Business Officer Institute (BOI), sponsored by the University of California Office of the President, was established in recognition of the critical role business officers hold in a complex business environment. The broad topic areas covered at the UC Business Officer Institute include Budget, Financial Management, The Control Environment, Human Resources, Risk Management, Sponsored Projects and Information Technology.The UC Davis Business Officer Certificate Series
Both seasoned and novice business officers will benefit from participating in the UC Davis Business Officer Certificate Series. UC Davis business officers may want to attend the University of California Business Officer Institute as well as the UC Davis Business Officer Certificate Series. However, participants in the UC Davis series need not have attended the UC program to participate locally. The UC Davis series allows business officers to select a curriculum tailored to their business management strengths, skills and needs. It is designed as a complement to the curriculum offered through the systemwide BOI.Participants who attend required and elective courses as noted below will receive a certificate of completion.
