E-mail Liability

This course covers present use of e-mail and problems arising in the civil litigation context. The discussion will include privacy issues and confidentiality of communications. Also discussed will be whether campus e-mails are "public records" whose retention and destruction are covered by existing law, as well as discoverability of e-mails during state or federal lawsuits.
