Confidentiality of Records

This course addresses requirements under federal and state law and university policy related to confidentiality of campus records regarding staff and other individuals. Such laws and policies restrict access to and limit disclosures from campus records and also give individuals the right to review records pertaining to themselves and seek corrections of erroneous information. Laws and policies regarding the retention and disposition of administrative records are also covered in this course.
