Managing Risk--An Assessment Model

Enterprisewide risk management is more than ensuring that an organization--its people and assets--are protected in the event of loss or injury. It includes "doing the right thing" and enhancing operations by taking advantage of opportunities. In today's business environment, risk is more broadly defined as any issue that impacts the achievement of the university's objectives. General liability costs are now delegated to the campus and employees are assuming new levels of accountability for risk assessment and mitigation. This course will provide a practical hands-on approach for managing risk to improve operations, decrease the cost of risk and achieve the objectives of our academic mission.
