Proposal Budgeting Basics

This course will provide the basic skills necessary for estimating and calculating a budget for any externally funded research project. Course objectives include:
- To give a basic understanding of the costing principles that the campus uses for sponsored projects
- To show how to apply campus policies and principles to the budgeting process
- To define key budgeting terms
- To be show how to calculate a complete budget through the entire life of a sponsored project
