My InfoVault: An Introduction

This course is for people who are new to MyInfoVault or who need a refresher on how to enter data. It will cover how to: log on to MIV, add new accounts for faculty members, enter data from a faculty file, create packets, and send the packets to the department. It will also cover highlights of the program, including the special character palette, improved navigation, “drag and drop” sequencing and other easy to use features. Participants are asked to bring a paper copy of a CV they plan to enter and an electronic version of the file on a CD. Participants without MIV accounts should come to the course knowing their UC login name and Kerberos password, as well as the login name of the faculty member on whose file they will be working.
